Sturgill Simpson Joins Chris Stapleton on “SNL”: Watch

Chris Stapleton was last night’s musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” and he brought out Sturgill Simpson to play “Midnight Train to Memphis” and “Hard Livin’.” Watch below. Both songs appear on Stapleton’s latest album, From a Room: Volume 2. Last year, Simpson served as the show’s first musical guest of 2017; it also marked his debut on the program. Stapleton recently teamed with Justin Timberlake for a new Man of the Woods song, “Say Something,” and he appeared in the music video. Simpson’s last album, A Sailor’s Guide to Earth, came out in 2016.
