Students celebrate the arts at the MAX

Apr. 24—Meridian Public School District students, parents and staff celebrated the arts Tuesday during the district's Festival of the Arts at the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience.
The festival gave students of all grade levels and campuses an opportunity to showcase their talents in drawing, photography, choir, percussion, dance and more for both their parents and the community.
The event, which was free and open to the public, was presented by The MAX and Any Given Child, an initiative through the Kennedy Center working to provide quality arts education to all children.
