Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria to open new location in Green Township
Strong's Brick Oven Pizza is coming to the West Side with its sixth location in Green Township announced last week.
The pizza chain's new location will open in the building at 6166 Bridgetown Road which formerly housed West Side favorite Kenning's Circle K, which closed its doors in 2022.
Strong's Brick Oven Pizza was chosen by a community member to take over the building, according to a release.
"Christian Strong and his team have a passion for rehabbing buildings with a historical impact on their community," said Amanda Knight, owner and operator.
Strong's Brick Oven Pizza was opened in 2012 by the duo Christian and Mindy Strong in Newport and eventually expanded beyond Kentucky to Ohio and Indiana due to customer demand.
The pizza chain serves up oven-baked "Old World Italian" pizza as well as salads, appetizers and dessert pies.
A Facebook post announcing the new location promises more details soon, but until then you can order from the locations in Reading, Union, Hebron, Newport and Lawrenceburg.
