‘Stranger Things’ Star Reveals Her First Kiss Was On Set

The stars of Stranger Things joined Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show this Wednesday, and they revealed that Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, had her first kiss on set.

Jimmy asked the actress about it, and she responded with a frown. It turns out that the kiss was fine, but the entire experience around it was embarrassing. She explained, “It was very awkward ’cause, like, everyone was there. All the crew.” Even her dad was on set for it.

To make the kiss go better, Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, brought two packs of Tic Tacs.

The series creators, the Duffer brothers, made the awkward experience worse by sending the actors kissy face emoji leading up to the shoot.

Their co-stars Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin even stayed late to watch the kiss unfold.

The two finally smooched, and after the take Brown exclaimed, “Kissing sucks!” Judging by his face, it doesn’t seem like Wolfhard minded too much. If their onscreen romance continues in the second season, let’s hope their next kiss isn’t so awkward.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
