More than five months since making its at the Phoenix Theatre in London, Netflix‘s critically-acclaimed stage play Stranger Things: The First Shadow will officially be getting an extended West End run. Originally scheduled to end on December 14, shows will now last until 2025, with tickets now available through February 16.

This announcement also comes with the release of the first Stranger Things: The First Shadow trailer, featuring the first footage from the stage play about Henry Creel’s origins. The video also provides fans with a closer look at what to expect from the hit stage play, including its incredible production design, special effects, and cast.

Who’s involved in Stranger Things: The First Shadow?

Stranger Things: The First Shadow stars Oscar Lloyd as James Hopper Jr., Louis McCartney as Henry Creel, Isabella Pappas as Joyce Maldonado, Christopher Buckley as Bob Newby, Ella Karuna Williams as Patty Newby, Patrick Vaill as Dr. Brenner, and Shane Attwooll as Chief Hopper. Joining them are Chase Brown as Lonnie Byers, Ammar Duffus as Charles Sinclair, Gilles Geary as Ted Wheeler, Florence Guy as Karen Childress, Max Harwood as Allen Munson, Kemi Awoderu as Sue Anderson, Michael Jibson as Victor Creel, Matthew Pidgeon as Father Newby, Calum Ross as Walter Henderson, Maisie Norma Seaton as Claudia Henderson, Lauren Ward as Virginia Creel and more.

Stranger Things: The First Shadow is directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, with Kate Trefry writing the play which will be rooted in the mythology and world of the Netflix global phenomenon. It is based on an original story by Jack Thorne and series creators Matt and Ross Duffer, who are attached to serve as creative producers. Netflix previously confirmed that the play will include clues that may be significant for the final chapter of the hit series. Since its debut, the play has won two Laurence Olivier Awards out of five nominations, including Best Entertainment or Comedy Play and Best Set Design.

“Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town,” reads the synopsis. “When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy… and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.”
