In case you hadn’t noticed, Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 is out and Millie Bobby Brown is…incredible. No spoilers because it literally dropped just a few hours ago and unless you stayed up all night just to have Netflix crash on you (yep, that happened), you likely haven’t watched yet, but yeah: MBB is amazing. And her name has been trending on Twitter since volume 2’s drop mostly because everyone is demanding that she get an Emmy for this performance.

Millie has been nominated for an Emmy twice before thanks to her amazing work in Stranger Things—once in 2017 and once in 2018. Ann Dowd won the award in 2017 for her role as Aunt Lydia on The Handmaid’s Tale, while Thandiwe Newton won the award in 2018 for her role as Maeve in Westworld. This could definitely be Millie’s year though, so stay tuned because nominations for the 2022 Emmy Awards come out in mid-July. And I think we can all agree that after this incredible season, it’ll be shocking if multiple members of this cast don’t come away with noms (SADIE SINK!!!).

But! If the Emmys don’t come through for season 4, there’s always season 5—aka Stranger Things’ final season. Which, nope, hasn’t started filming yet but is expected to maybe (hopefully?!) drop in 2023 or 2024.
