Barb has returned from the Upside Down with baked goods in tow.
Stranger Things star Shannon Purser – the first-time actress behind the Netflix series' beloved, mom jeans-wearing character Barb – surprised some of her cast mates on Chelsea this week.
While Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo chatted with Chelsea Handler, Purser came out. The 19-year-old carried with her a birthday cake, crafted for Matarazzo's 13th birthday on Thursday.
"[This was my] very, very first acting gig ever," Purser told Handler of Stranger Things. "It was absolutely amazing. It was totally unexpected."
Especially surprising was Barb's online popularity with fans: "Suddenly it blew up and people were tweeting about Barb. I didn't think anybody would care and they did."
Purser's role also came up during Matarazzo, McLaughlin and Brown's PEOPLE Now sit-down with fellow cast mate Noah Schnapp.
Answering a series of rapid fire questions, Brown teased of Barb's season 2 status, "She's getting her own spin-off."

In fact, Purser is headed out of Hawkins to Riverdale to portray Ethel Muggs in The CW's new, live-action take on the Archie comics.
Other questionable season two returns? Brown joked to PEOPLE Now of her character Eleven: "She flew to L.A., got a mansion, got a great husband and lived her life."
Stranger Things season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
