A line of severe thunderstorms spurred tornado warnings for parts of North and South Carolina on Thursday afternoon, March 18.
Self-described storm chaser Brian Brant captured footage in South Carolina of ominous clouds forming a rotation near Tega Cay around 4:40 pm on Thursday afternoon.
Around the same time, the NWS issued a tornado warning for parts of northern York County, including Tega Cay and other areas near the state line.
According to the Rock Hill Herald, York County Emergency Management Director Chuck Haynes confirmed Thursday evening that no tornadoes had touched down in the area and that no damage was reported. Credit: Brian Branch via Storyful
