‘Storage Wars’ Dave Hester and Co-Stars’ Brawl Fallout Caught on Camera (Video)
Did “Storage Wars” just get a little too hot for TV? As star Dave Hester’s catchphrase would tell it, “Yuuup!”
As the story goes, when A&E auctioneer Dan Dotson (pictured: right) missed a storage locker bid from Hester during Friday’s Palm Springs taping, producers told the series regular bidder to tell Dan about the oversight. Apparently Dotson ignored Hester (pictured: left), and Dave’s persistence didn’t end well.
Per TMZ, after Dotson threatened Hester, Dave decked him. In the melee that ensued, Dotson’s wife Laura reportedly jumped on Hester’s back and got tossed to the ground.
In a cell phone video of the aftermath, Laura is seen and heard screaming and cursing at Hester for allegedly knocking her down.

“You’re a son of a bitch motherfucker,” Laura yells at Hester. “You like hitting a woman? You like knocking me down on the goddamned ground?”
“Fucking A man,” she continued. “He just throws me over like a piece of fucking shit.”
Laura finishes: “Get the fuck out of this auction you asshole!”
Eventually, Hester was booted from set and went to the hospital for a tetanus shot because Laura scratched him, drawing blood, the gossip website reported. Production was halted.
