'Stolen' Guinea Pig Reunited With Schoolchildren in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Coconut the classroom guinea pig was safely reunited with his human pals at a school in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 9, after local sheriffs recovered the allegedly stolen rodent.

Footage released by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office shows children at The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School cheering upon Coconut’s return. “We sure love a happy ending,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook caption.

A juvenile suspect allegedly broke into the school building over the weekend and was identified in TikTok videos featuring the guinea pig, according to local news reports.
