Stocks getting hit today include Wayfair (W) as the online furnishings site was the target of bearish comments from short-seller Citron Research, Bed Bath and Beyond (BBBY) after the home-goods retailer posted a 52% drop in earnings and a slight dip in same-store sales, and PG&E Corp. (PCG), the utility, slipping after it suspended its dividend due to potential liabilities from the October 2017 California wildfires.

Stocks in the green today include Finish Line (FINL) as the athletic wear retailer reported beats on earnings, revenue and same-store sales, Discovery Communications (DISCA) as Bank of America Merrill Lynch upgraded shares to buy, citing positives like deleveraging, asset sales, and buybacks, and Embraer (ERJ) — shares soaring on reports Boeing held merger talks with the Brazilian aircraft maker.
