Winners and losers

Roku despite beating on earnings, as the devicemaker’s Roku’s current quarter revenue guidance missed the mark, Wayfair as the home furnishings site reported a wider loss than expected, and Snap – shares tanking here following increased backlash from Snapchat’s redesign, and a Kylie Jenner tweet asking if anyone used the app anymore, and that “this is so sad.” Jenner was one of Snapchat’s most popular users.

Stocks in the green include Avis Budget Group as the car rental operator easily beat on earnings for the quarter, Bloomin’ Brands as the Outback Steakhouse parent beat on earnings and saw comp sales rise over 3%, and Walmart – shares getting a boost here as will launch a new online home shopping experience that will let shoppers discover fashion and home furnishing items based on their style.
