Stevie Nicks' Voice Is Music to Hillary Scott's Baby's Ears

With a baby due early this summer, Hillary Scott is reading all she can about its development and has learned that her unborn child can now hear voices. That includes not only the Lady Antebellum frontwoman and her husband Chris Tyrrell, but one very cool songbird — Stevie Nicks.

Scott’s group, including bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, recently taped a CMT Crossroads show with the Fleetwood Mac legend that is slated to air later this year.

“Driving over here today, I was thinking [that] the first voice — other than mine, my husband’s speaking voice and the boys — that our baby’s ever heard is Stevie Nicks,” Scott, 26, tells the station on the Hot 20 Countdown, airing Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

“I just thought, ‘What a lucky kid already.'”

For her part, Nicks also seems pleased that she will endure as a part of the child’s legacy. “I said that in 10 years, whether it’s a little boy or a little girl, it will be able to watch this film and go ‘I was there,’” Nicks explains.

Has Scott’s pregnancy spawned baby fever among Kelley and Haywood, who are each married themselves? Not just yet, the guys demurred, as Nicks good-naturedly stepped in to defend them.

“Hey, we’re just taking it day by day. I’m just soaking up this moment,” Kelley tells CMT. “One is good, one is good,” interjects Nicks. Adds Haywood: “One for the band. One is good for awhile.”
