Steven Seagal Denies Sexual Assault Accusation by Bond Girl
Steven Seagal has denied ex-Bond girl Rachel Grant’s accusations of sexual assault that took place in 2002 at a film rehearsal in Bulgaria.
Through his lawyers, who spoke with the BBC, the action movie star has denied Grant’s assault accusation as well as another claim by the actress that he tried to indecently expose himself.
“I want to share what happened to me, so people will hear it and others might come forward,” Grant told the BBC in a previous interview.
The British actress said she was flown to Sofia to rehearse lines with Seagal in September 2002 after auditioning for a role in “Out For A Kill.”

Grant said she met the actor in a hotel suite with the director, but when left alone in the room with Seagal, she said he asked her to take her top off several times, which she refused.
“I stood up to try to distract him. But he was able to tug down my top, which was strapless. My breasts were completely exposed and I was forced to cover myself,” she said.
“He pushed me on to the bed with force. Then he said, ‘I suppose you want to see my private parts’ — though he used a different word. I was looking up and he started to pull down his zip.”

Grant added that Seagal said that he liked to date actresses he worked with so they could “to improve the on-screen chemistry.”
Neither Seagal nor his legal team responded TheWrap’s requests for comment.

Seagal is currently under investigation by the LAPD for a separate 2005 accusation. He has also been accused of the 1993 rape of Regina Simons, who was 18 at the time and an extra on Steven Seagal’s 1994 film “On Deadly Ground.”
