Sterling K. Brown and his wife shared some laughs about their two kids at the 2024 Oscars.

The couple stepped onto the red carpet at the 96th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, where they shared an update on their family of four with E!

"There's a lot of stuff going on in my life," the actor, 47, shared. The Best Actor in a Supporting Role nominee, recognized for his role in American Fiction, joked, "We got two kids that we're just trying to get out of the house one day, but who still love us."

The couple is parents to sons Amaré, 7, and Andrew, 12.

When asked if her husband is a "handful," wife Ryan Michelle Bathe shared, "He's a very chill individual. He does all of these things, but he's real chill."

She added, "The only time he's not chill is when he's at a soccer game, our son's soccer game," teasing, "then he's not so chill."

Brown thanked his two sons at the 75th Annual Golden Globes in 2018. That night, he took home the award for best actor in a television series, drama for his role in This Is Us — becoming the first black actor ever to do so.

During his acceptance speech at the award show, Brown made a point to thank his wife after he had previously been cut off at the 2017 Emmy Awards during his acceptance speech just as he was about to thank her.

"I don't want to run out of time. Let me thank my wife. I love you so much. Thank you for supporting me so much. My kids, Andrew and Amare, Daddy loves you," Brown said, before promising to "take you to school in the morning."
