Sterling K. Brown Reveals Jennifer Lopez’s Song Almost Ended His Relationship With Wife

Who knew Jennifer Lopez made such an impact on Sterling K. Brown’s life! The two star alongside Simu Liu in “Atlas” and while revealing their first impressions of each other, the “This Is Us” alum confessed to Access Hollywood that JLo’s first song almost ended his relationship with now-wife Ryan Michelle Bathe. “I’ve told an anecdote about how [her] song almost ended a relationship,” he told Access. “It was with my wife, actually. But we broke up for like three and a half years,” he added to Jennifer’s surprise. “No! Oh, I didn’t know it was your wife!” JLo exclaimed. The “American Fiction” star joked a JLo song didn’t bring them back together but clarifies they are good now. The fun anecdotes didn’t stop there! While chatting with Access, JLO and Sterling also revealed the fun nickname they gave Simu after seeing him play a villain in the film. “Atlas” streams on Netflix May 24.
