Ayesha Curry’s now popular tweet following the Golden State Warriors’ Game 6 loss, and Stephen Curry’s ejection, drew major criticism from social media users to sports commentators. And the discussion is far from over.

During a press conference on Saturday (June 18) ahead of tonight’s Game 7, Steph was asked by a reporter what were his thoughts on his wife’s comments.

“It’s between me and Ayesha, the conversation about what happened, that’s going to be handled,” he said. “But other than that, that doesn’t take any spotlight off of what my job is on the floor and what these next 48 minutes are going to be like in Game 7.”

Despite all seriousness, the two-time MVP made a lighthearted comment that made the room of reporters chuckle. “I might have to cut the Wi-Fi off in my house, though.”

This game will be a historic night for both teams, no matter the outcome. For GSW, they’ll seal a more-than-impressive run with a regular season record of 73-9. On the Cleveland Cavaliers’ side, this might be the team’s first time winning a league championship in franchise history. In 2007, they took home the Eastern Conference title, but fell to the San Antonio Spurs in a four-game sweep.
