Stephen Colbert went after Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop blog again on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. In the past, the actress's blog has recommended such things as a $15,000 sex toy and $125,000 dumbbells - with emphasis on the dumb. But her latest recommendation for energizing Body Vibes stickers really irked the comedian with it's out-of-this-world claims.
The claim is that the stickers rebalance the energy frequency in our bodies. And that they are "Made with the same conductive carbon material NASA uses to line space suits so they can monitor an astronaut's vitals during wear." According to multiple articles, NASA does not use conductive carbon material in their space suits.
The sticker company substantiates their energizing claim saying, "If you tap a fork and then hold this near another fork, it will also oscillate at the same frequency. The theory is that your cells can do the same thing when using our smart stickers." Which Colbert responded to saying, "So what Goop is saying is buy these stickers and you can fork yourself."
The stickers range from $60 for 10 up to $120 for 24. But good luck getting some because according to the website they are completely sold out.
