Paul Giamatti is set to join Stephen Colbert for an evening of conversation as part of the second annual North to Shore Festival in New Jersey this June.

The event, set for June 29 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, will raise money for Montclair Film, the New Jersey based arts organization with which Colbert has long been involved, which runs the Montclair Film Festival.

Onstage, the Late Show host and Holdovers star will discuss Giamatti’s long-running screen career. In addition to his recent, Oscar-nominated role in the Alexander Payne-directed film, Giamatti’s film credits include Sideways, his Oscar-nominated role in Cinderella Man and performances in such movies as American Splendor, Barney’s Version, 12 Years a Slave, Straight Outta Compton, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, San Andreas, Planet of the Apes and Saving Private Ryan.

On the small screen, Giamatti spent seven seasons starring in Billions and previously appeared in the HBO movie Too Big to Fail and won an Emmy, SAG Award and Golden Globe for his role as the title character in the HBO miniseries John Adams.

He also co-hosts the podcast Chinwag.

Colbert has conducted similar, in-depth conversations, often in the fall, with such figures as John Oliver, J.J. Abrams, Steve Carell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Meryl Streep and Martin Scorsese, which serve as fundraisers for Montclair Film.

In addition to the Montclair Film Festival, Montclair Film owns and operates Montclair’s six-screen art-house theaters, The Clairidge, and provides year-round film education, storytelling and community programs throughout New Jersey.

The North to Shore Festival is set to run from June 10-30 across three New Jersey cities: Asbury Park, Atlantic City and Newark.

Colbert’s wife, Evelyn McGee Colbert is the president of Montclair’s board of trustees, with Colbert on an advisory board with Abrams, Jonathan Alter, Jon Stewart, Richard Curtis, Abigail Disney, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Patrick Wilson, Laura Linney, Julie Taymor and others.
