Stephen Colbert Gets Trump to Admit He’s ‘Hurting the Country’ (Video)

Stephen Colbert landed an exclusive (and completely fake, before you freak out) Donald Trump interview to celebrate the Commander in Chief’s first 100 days in office.

At the beginning of Monday’s cold open, the “Late Show” host and our POTUS attempt to ascertain Trump’s current level of sanity. That’s no easy task on the outside looking in.

Soon, it was rapid-fire time.

On NAFTA, Trump “responded”: “I’m not gonna touch it.”

On Medicare: Again, “I’m not gonna touch it.”

But when Colbert asked about “an unsuspecting woman’s behind,” Trump admitted: “I will touch that.”

The former “Celebrity Apprentice” boss then got introspective.

When Colbert asked his faux interview subject to sum up his first three months-and-change as our nation’s top executive, the leader of the free world said what we’re all thinking: “It’s hurting the country.”
