Stephen Colbert’s book mocking Trump reached a major milestone

On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, it was revealed that the book put together by Late Show staff, Whose Boat Is This Boat? Comments That Don’t Help in the Aftermath of a Hurricane, reached a milestone. The book mocks Donald Trump for flippant comments he made while visiting victims of Hurricane Florence in North Carolina. Complete with pictures, the book is written only using direct quotes from Trump about a boat that had washed ashore. Whose Boat Is This Boat was available for presale in September and quickly reached #1 on Amazon. All proceeds go directly to a number of charities providing aid for hurricanes Florence and Michael, and those charities are about to get a whole lot of money. “Through the generosity of you good people buying this book, Whose Boat Is This Boat? has raised one million dollars,” Colbert exclaimed. “Boom!” And for those looking to give the gift of fine literature this holiday season, Colbert has got you covered. “If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, it makes the perfect stocking stuffer,” Colbert said, “if you happen to have a very large, rectangular stocking.”
