The limited series is produced by Universal Content Productions.

But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare. Megan Gallagher (Wolf, Suspicion) will write and exec produce the series, which is based on the novel of the same name by Andrea Mara, who is attached as an associate producer. Gareth Neame, Nigel Marchant and Joanna Strevens for Carnival (Downton Abbey) also exec produce the series, which hails from Universal International Studio.
