Step Into the Kitchen of Meghan Markle's New Cooking Show

Meghan Markle stands in front of a tile backsplash, the glow of copper pots shining off her like a halo. She's in the a kitchen that's all quiet-luxury-meets-coastal cool, with a splash of Mediterranean flavor (that could be attributed the bowl of photogenic lemons). The kitchen comes complete with Caesartone counter, and a 48-inch Thermador range. It's the perfect place to film a cooking show, which is what Markle will do here. It's a workplace, an aspirational setting, a brand-building locale for her new enterprise, America Riviera Orchard. What it's most definitely not is Markle's own kitchen.

Royal-watchers rejoiced when it was recently reported that Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, partnered with Netflix to produce two new series: One about the history of polo, and the other a lifestyle program that, per Deadline, will "celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship."

But just because Markle's cooking program will offer insight into the celebrity-turned-Duchess's inner circle doesn't mean we're going to get an inside look at her and Harry's home. According to The Daily Mail, who exclusively received filming permits for the show, it looks like the Suits star will be shot at the home of philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla.

Luckily, that locale should offer plenty of real estate eye candy. Located in a gated community within Montecito, the property seems like a perfect fit for Markle's burgeoning lifestyle brand. The 4,500-square-foot modern farmhouse is nestled on eight acres of avocado trees and lemon groves, so Markle will have access to fresh produce, for one thing.

It might seem odd that Markle is filming her lifestyle series in someone else's house, but it's a standard move for the couple. Since their previous dwellings have been packed with paparazzi—well, until Tyler Perry generously lent them his home—it's likely that they'll want to protect their privacy at all costs. (Harry and Meghan didn't even film interviews for their eponymous documentary in their own home.)

Still, we have a lot of questions about this show. Which of her famous friends will be featured? Will they be eating American Riviera Orchard jams? (We're willing to bet yes.) And, of course, when will it debut on Netflix? We'll be sure to keep you in the loop once we hear!
