Step Into ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schimdt’ Stars Ellie Kemper and Tituss Burgess’s Dressing Rooms
In the lead-up to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s second season, the show’s stars Ellie Kemper and Tituss Burgess invited Glamour’s cameras into their dressing rooms for a brief tour. We say brief because, hoo boy, these things are unglamorous. There is a desk, a mini-fridge, some lamps, candles, and, uhhhhhhhhh. That’s about it.
To the casual viewer, this is a charming look at the uncharmed working conditions of people who the general public perceives to have very glamorous lives. They, too, are overworked and must subsist on a diet of Babybel cheese. Sure, Kemper and Burgess are on a successful television show, but all they’re trying to do too is sneak in a nap in the middle of the workday.
But the conspiracy theorist would see this video has more sinister motives. Is it possible this is a play to shame Netflix into giving its stars dressing rooms which are, at the very least, lit better than a grocery store dairy aisle?
