How Stassi Schroeder ‘Hurt’ Lala Kent With Social Media Announcement

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent made it plain that she wanted to have a baby, but no baby daddy. She shares her daughter, Ocean Kent, with her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett. And it was not an amicable breakup. But when former Pump Rules star Stassi Schroeder announced her pregnancy, it made Lala sad.

Meanwhile, Lala desperately wanted to give Ocean a sibling, so she decided to undergo intrauterine insemination, also known as IUI. Lala used a sperm donor. During her confessional in a recent episode of Pump Rules, she stated, “I want an absolute. With this baby, no matter what, this is my baby. No one can ever come in and take it from me,” she said.

In March 2023, Stassi announced via Instagram that she was pregnant with her second child with her husband Beau Clark. “Secrets stress me out. Baby #2, I love you so much already,” Stassi captioned an adorable photo with her daughter, Hartford Clark. She gave birth to her son, Messer Clark, on September 7, 2023.

Lala was “hurt” that Stassi didn’t tell her personally

Lala detailed what went down between her and Stassi on her podcast, Give Them Lala. Lala was “a little bummed” to find out about Stassi’s pregnancy on social media. “We had a dinner after a birthday party — I think it was [my daughter] Ocean’s — and she had announced her pregnancy. Then, she was like, ‘I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you,'” Lala explained. “And I said, ‘I was a little hurt that I found out through social media.’ Like, if you notice on her photo, all I wrote was, ‘Congrats.'”

Lala continued, “At the same time, it has nothing to do with you because this is your child and your announcement and you should be able to tell whoever you want.” But Lala worried that it hinted at an issue in their friendship.

“Because she brought it up, I was like, ‘Is this a me thing?’ It has nothing to do with you. Just put that out there — this is me feeling hurt,” Lala stated. “But it’s OK. After that dinner at the Ivy on Robertson, we have just been thick as it gets.”

I still can’t believe that all these ladies from VPR are now moms, and some babies resulted from a pregnancy pact.
