Stars Who Can’t Resist the Powers of Pizza: See The Celebs Chowing Down

Who doesn't love pizza? Whether you like deep-dish or prefer thin-crust, there’s no denying cheesy pies are widely popular across the globe, even among the often-diet conscious celeb set. From Jennifer Lawrence, who went to town on a slice during the 2014 Oscars, to Sarah Hyland, who helped herself to part of a pie in the midst of a red carpet interview, it’s obvious a love for pizza knows no bounds. And for these famous faces, the Italian staple clearly has a pizza their heart. See what we did there? “I don’t like when people say, ‘I only do this or eat this,’” the Hunger Games star told Vogue in August 2018 about her meals, not one to deny herself life’s best pleasures. “Because I eat. I’m not very strict with my diet: If I want a piece of pizza, I eat a piece of pizza.” She continued at the time: “I do work out more than normal because I have a certain way that I want to look, and a way that I want to fit into my clothes. I get photographed when I’m not asking for it, so there’s added pressure to look and feel your best. For me, it’s easier to put that extra effort into the gym instead of putting the extra effort into: ‘Oh no, I can’t eat that.’” Meanwhile, the Modern Family alum isn’t one to give up the tasty snack either — no matter where she is. Hyland made headlines during the 2016 Emmy Awards when she chowed down on the red carpet. “She took a large, thin slice, folded it in half and threw her head back to eat it,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly of the Wedding Year actress in August 2016. “She didn’t seem to care what she looked like, which was refreshing. She just chilled for a while and ate her pizza.” Lawrence and Hyland are hardly the only stars who can’t get enough of the delicious meal. Other pizza-loving stars include former Bachelor Matt James, Meryl Streep, Will Ferrell and Kendall Jenner, just to name a few. The Anchorman star, for his part, has even taken his love of ’za to the small screen when he starred in a February 2021 Super Bowl ad for GM.
