Stars stanning Democrats: Ariana & Bernie, Bon Jovi & Booker and more celebrity supporters

The Democratic presidential field remains stacked, but Hollywood's most famous faces are narrowing down their choices.

Although candidates like Sanders and Warren have taken heat from Wall Street over their plans to tax the ultra-wealthy, they've still managed to secure support from some of the highest-paid people in the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, newer name Buttigieg has seriously impressed a slew A-list stars, despite the fact that that he was relatively unknown around this time last year.

So who's supporting who? Let's get to it.

    1. Ariana Grande and Bernie Sanders: Hours ahead of the Nov. 20 Democratic debate, an ecstatic-looking Ariana Grande shared snapshots with the Vermont senator, who was looking pretty cheerful himself. In one photo, the two are smiling broadly; in another, they're shown sharing a hug. Calling Bernie "my guy," Ariana thanked him for "coming to my show, making my whole night and for all that you stand for!!!"

Bernie has no shortage of celebrity supporters: Cardi B, Danny DeVito and Mark Ruffalo are among the many stars who are also feelin' the bern.

    2. Seth MacFarlane and Pete Buttigieg: The "Family Guy" creator voiced his steadfast support for Mayor Pete over the summer, saying he's "quietly one of the best presidential candidates I've seen in my lifetime." Other candidates in the running, he said, are "flashy, noisy, and put on a good dinner show, but that's not what we need once the real work begins." And even if 2020 isn't in the cards for Buttigieg, MacFarlane is convinced that he'll eventually be the guy for the job: "Whether he wins this round or not, it's likely this guy will be President one day," he wrote.

A slew of A-list stars — Ryan Reynolds, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, John Stamos and Michael J. Fox, to name a few — have also indicated their support for Buttigieg with campaign donations.

    3. Jon Bon Jovi and Cory Booker: The New Jersey native is a fan of his state senator, even penning a personal note to Booker supporters in September in a fundraising email. "To put it simply, I think Cory Booker is a great man who would do an amazing job in the White House," Bon Jovi wrote. "I'm lucky to call him a friend, and all of us would be lucky to call him our president."

In addition, Ben Affleck, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Bacon have donated to Booker.

    4. Chrissy Teigen, John Legend & Elizabeth Warren: The A-list couple said in October that their pick for the Democratic nomination is the Massachusetts senator, telling Vanity Fair that "she's the best candidate running today, and she comes at it with joy and with sincerity and with a wealth of knowledge and experience."

Also in Warren's corner are Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Van Ness, both of whom have voiced their support.

    5. Rob Reiner and Joe Biden: Reiner had no hesitations about endorsing the former Vice President on the very first day of his campaign. "We have a great field of candidates running for President. We should be supportive of them all," Reiner tweeted in April. "But if ever there was a time in our nation’s history that we needed someone to restore our soul & standing as leader of the free world, it’s now."

He added, "Joe Biden will do that on day one."

    6. Mindy Kaling and Kamala Harris: The field was even more crowded when the actress spoke on CNN earlier this year, but her choice was already clear: "I love Kamala Harris, and I have really been vocal about my support for her," she said. "I think she's a really exciting candidate, and I like her stance on so many issues that are important to me."

Kamala has seen donations flow in from a remarkable number of famous faces, including Ben Affleck, Jon Hamm, Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg and Don Cheadle.

    7. Noah Centineo and Andrew Yang: The romantic comedy heartthrob is a fan of Yang, donating earlier this year in a show of support for the #YangGang.

    8. Teri Hatcher and Amy Klobuchar: The "Desperate Housewives" actress donated to the campaign, as did Jane Fonda. Klobuchar has also gained notable support from top Hollywood producers and power players, including DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg and Disney-ABC chairman Dana Walden.
