Stars Love the Elf on the Shelf
The holidays are all about traditions and celebrities can’t get enough of the Elf on the Shelf, a toy elf that gets the whole family into the spirit of the season, while having the added bonus of motivating the kids to be on the best behavior knowing Santa’s little helpers have a watchful eye on them.
Kourtney Kardashian recently posted a pic of their family’s elf just hanging around on a light fixture. “Our friend is back,” she captioned the shot. Vanessa and Nick Lachey are getting down with the Christmas pastime as well. “And so it begins…” the proud mama to Camden, 3, and Brooklyn, 11 months, captioned an Instagram pic of the elf perched up on a chandelier.
The busiest elves, however, live in Busy Philipps’s house. The Cougar Town actress has documented the escapades of their elves thoroughly, including planting jelly beans that grew into candy canes, helping out with construction around the house, taking a beach vacay, participating in the annual race, and nursing her husband Marc and two daughters, Birdie, 7, and Cricket, 2, back to health after the flu. They even did the laundry! “The Elves came,” the actress wrote alongside a pic of the elves waiting for their clothes to dry. “They forgot to do their laundry before they got here! And along with their own laundry, they brought two Christmas dresses for Birdie & Cricket with a note.”
