Starling Shakespeare Company returns to Mackinaw City Aug. 10

MACKINAW CITY — The Mackinaw City Area Arts Council has announced the return of the Starling Shakespeare Company to the Conkling Park stage.

The Starling Shakespeare Company will perform "As You Like It" on Aug. 10 in Conkling Park.

At 6 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Conkling Heritage Park, 335 S. Huron Ave., the troupe will perform "As You Like It."

Seating is on the lawn, so organizers encourage people to bring a blanket, a picnic basket, and the whole family for an evening of theatrical fun.

With only five actors, Starling's shows are fast-placed, playful, and nimble interpretations of the Bard's classic plays. The performance is 90 minutes long.

The performance is sponsored by the Mackinaw City Area Arts Council and is free to all guests.
