The recent STARDOM in Sendai show saw new champions crowned in the promotion’s tag team divisions on top of emotional losses.
Representing Empress Nexus Venus, Maika, Mina Shirakawa, and Xena defeated Syuri, MIRAI, and Ami Sohrei of God’s Eye in a six-person tag to capture the Artists of Stardom Championship. This victory marks Maika’s third reign for the title and Xena’s first championship win as a STARDOM competitor. Maika also currently holds the World of Stardom Championship, making her a double champion in the process.
In the main event, Suzu Suzuki and Mei Seira defeated the defending champions Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani to win the gold. This marks Suzu and Mei’s first taste of tag team gold in STARDOM. Mei also holds the High Speed Championship, likewise making her a double champion with Maika.
Some STARDOM fans expected both Goddess and Artists of Stardom belts to change hands at this show due to the previously announced departure of former champions, MIRAI (Artist) and Utami (Goddess) at the end of March.
Post-show fallout
Utami’s partner, Saya Kamitani, took to her Twitter to express her sentiments on her partner leaving the company. In an emotional post, she credited Utami for shaping her into the competitor that she is today. Saya then wished for them to cross paths again in the future as they chased their respective goals and dreams in different companies in the meantime.

On the other hand, God’s Eye leader Syuri wished for MIRAI to continue with her wrestling career free from regret. She then promised MIRAI to send her off in a good way. MIRAI will be competing in four consecutive 5-minute matches against each of her faction members in Syuri, Ami Sohrei, Saki Kashima, and Ranna Yagami as a sendoff from STARDOM the following day.
