Starbucks, Dunkin', Krispy Kreme release Pumpkin Spice drinks and new fall menus

Pumpkin spice season is officially back.

After teasing the pending return of its classic Pumpkin Spice Latte earlier this week, Starbucks customers on Thursday got their first taste of the popular seasonal drink that celebrates 20 years since it was first introduced at select Starbucks locations in 2003.

But Starbucks wasn’t the first to bring back pumpkin spice lattes this year: Krispy Kreme (Aug. 7) and Dunkin’ (Aug. 16), were the first to roll out seasonal beverages earlier this month.

The drinks offer a first taste of fall at a time when parts of the country, including Jacksonville and Northeast Florida, are growing weary of high temperatures and triple-digit heat index readings.

Here's a look at what Starbucks, Dunkin' and Krispy Kreme are offering this fall.

Starbucks

• Pumpkin Spice Latte: Espresso and steamed milk with flavors of real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices. Available hot, iced or blended.

• Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte (New for 2023): Creamy chai tea with a blend of spiced chai notes and topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice.

• Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew: Cold brew sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice.

• Icead Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso (New for 2023): Blonde espresso with notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar, shaken and topped with oatmilk.

• Apple Crispy Oatmilk Macchiato: Features layers of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar with spiced apple drizzle. Available hot, iced and blended.

• Baked Apple Croissant (New for 2023): Croissant dough wrapped around a warm apple filling, topped with sugar and baked.

• Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin

• Owl Cake Pop

• Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf

Dunkin

• Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte: Espresso and milk, blended with notes of sweet pumpkin, vanilla and fall spices, topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and a dusting of cinnamon sugar. Available iced or hot,

• Nutty Pumpkin Coffee: Iced or hot coffee with sweet pumpkin, cream and hazelnut.

• Pumpkin Swirl: Guests can customize their favorite drinks by adding the swirl to hot or iced coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew or frozen coffee.

Krispy Kreme

• Pumpkin Spice Latte: Available hot, iced or frozen

• Pumpkin Spice Coffee: Available hot or iced

• Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut with pumpkin spice.

• Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut: Glazed, old-fashioned pumpkin spice cake doughnut.

• Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Swirl Doughnut (New for 2023): Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut swirled with pumpkin buttercream icing and cream cheese icing, topped with a light dusting of cinnamon sugar.

• Pumpkin Spice Maple Pecan Doughnut (New for 2023): Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in maple icing and topped with crunchy candied pecan pieces.
