The Force is strong with these fuzzballs.

Check out Yahoo’s exclusive sneak peek at the first batch of mind-boggingly cuddly Star Wars Tsum Tsums.

The oblong-shaped plushies — available short time from now (Feb. 16) in a galaxy really, really close (at the Disney Store, both brick-and-mortar and online varieties) — represent a dozen iconic characters from the vintage trilogy: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, Yoda, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Jabba the Hutt (complete with drool), Stormtrooper, and Ewok.

Disney introduced Tsum Tsums (pronounced soom-sooms) based on the studio’s classic characters in Japan in 2013. The cute creatures were an immediate sensation (selling 1.8 million units that launch year in Japan), and in 2014 arrived in the U.S., where they also proved insanely popular. The Mouse House continues to mine its cartoon catalog for new figures and last year unveiled a series based on Marvel heroes.

Like their predecessors, the initial Star Wars characters will be available in three sizes: mini, medium, and large. And fans of The Force Awakens, don’t despair. Disney promises to roll out additional characters from the space saga in the months to come, meaning we could eventually have BB-8, Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren, Phasma… heck, maybe even a huggable little Snoke Tsum Tsum.
