Why just watch The Mandalorian when you can be one? Or, at the very least, wear one of their awesome helmets. The latest addition to Hasbro's fan-favorite Star Wars: The Black Series line is a lovingly crafted — and fully functioning — electronic replica of the signature headpiece worn by Bo-Katan Kryze, the Mandalore-born alter ego of former Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff.
Retailing for $124.99 and available in fall 2022, the Bo-Katan Kryze Premium Electronic Helmet is just one of the must-have products that Hasbro is launching as part of Disney and Lucasfilm's massive "Bring Home the Bounty" campaign, and Yahoo Entertainment has your exclusive first look.
In case you don't have your Holocron handy, Bo-Katan first appeared on the animated series The Clone Wars, before popping up in her live-action debut during Season 2 of The Mandalorian. And she may be making a flyby appearance in the upcoming The Book of Boba Fett, which premieres on Disney+ on Dec. 29.
Hasbro's roleplay-ready helmet is directly inspired by her Mandalorian appearance, and boasts interior padding and an adjustable fit to go snugly on any size of noggin. There's also a drop-down rangefinder that houses an LED-illuminated heads-up display, and two red LEDs that show when you're in hunting mode.
Speaking of The Book of Boba Fett, Hasbro is adding two major characters from that series to its Vintage Collection line of Star Wars action figures, starting with Boba himself. Inspired by the bounty hunter's old-school Kenner figure, this 3.75-inch action figure features Temuera Morrison's face under Boba's helmet and armor.
Other accessories include that all-important jet pack and some of the storm trooper helmets Boba has acquired from his various battles. This figure retails for $26.49 and will be available in summer 2022.
Boba Fett's partner in crime in The Book of Boba Fett will be Fennec Shand, Ming-Na Wen's popular Mandalorian character. Although Fennec wasn't part of the Star Wars galaxy back in the Kenner days, Hasbro still used those classic figures as inspiration for her Vintage Collection debut.
Retailing for $13.99 and available in fall 2022, the Fennec figure comes with a pair of accessories, including her helmet. That's one way to avoid those blinding Tatooine sandstorms.
Hasbro's new Star Wars products will be available in 2022 at most major retailers.
