Hasbro beams in holocomm-themed 'Star Wars' Black Series action figures — get the exclusive first look

Help us, Yahoo Entertainment — you're our only hope... at getting an exclusive first look at Hasbro's next-level addition to its popular Star Wars: The Black Series toy line. The toy giant is launching the Holocomm Collection, a five-figure collection of fan-favorite figures from that far, far away galaxy.

But these aren't your standard full-color action figures. Instead, each comes equipped with that familiar blue holo-glow like it's being beamed out of R2-D2. Pop a puck into the base of the figure and you'll be treated to an out of this world 30-minute light show.

Select figures from the Holocomm Collection will be available this fall, while others will be released in Spring 2024. But preorders will be open in October at various retailers for each of the five figures, which retail for $34.99 individually. And you have extra incentive to buy more than one — the more you collect, the closer you are to building you own galactic communication hub.

Laugh it up, fuzzballs: the galaxy's premier smuggler is also the only Original Trilogy character included in the first wave of the Holocomm Collection. Naturally, Han comes equipped with his trusty blaster — so he can always shoot first — and multiple points of articulation. We know you'll want to scoop up this bad boy when pre-sales go live on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. ET exclusively at Hasbro Pulse and additional fan channel retailers.

The star of the hit Disney+ series Ahsoka beams in from her brand new galaxy to be part of the Holocomm Collection. Along with her hologram-style deco, Ahsoka Tano also has her two lightsabers handy. You'll have to wait a little longer to order this figure, though — it's available for pre-sale on Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. ET exclusively at Walmart as part of Walmart Collector Con.

This Mandalorian walks softly and carries a big... rifle. Also a pistol for extra firepower and a jetpack for quick escapes. Pick Mando up when he goes on pre-sale on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. ET exclusively at Hasbro Pulse and ShopDisney.

Two bounty hunters are always better than one. That's why you'll want to pair Din Djarin with Bo-Katan Kryze when she's pre-orderable on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. ET exclusively at Target. The Nite Owls commander comes with her dual pistols and that always-essential jetpack. Both The Mandalorian and Bo-Katan will be in stores in the fall.

He may be a relatively new addition to the Star Wars galaxy of characters, but Clan Kryze member Axe Woves has already established some serious fan cred. Like the other Mandalorians, Axe comes with a jetpack, helmet and blasters. Unlike the other Mandalorians, he's available for pre-sale on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. ET exclusively at Amazon.
