'Star Wars' Audition Footage With Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill Surfaces

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ... Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill met for the first time!

The screen-test between the two movie stars was revealed over the weekend in unearthed an unearthed video.

The black and white footage surfaced on Twitter and showed the initial chemistry between Hamill and Ford during their first screen test for the roles of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.

Both stars were rounded up by George Lucas, who refused to tell them what the secret movie was about. We now know the scene had to do with the Millennium Falcon encountering the remains of Alderaan, Princess Leia's home planet.

After begging for some back story, Ford filled in some of the details.

“My screen-test for @starwars w/ Harrison on the 1st day I ever met him. Neither 1 of us had read the script at this point, only this 1 scene," he explained.

67-year-old Hamill spoke about the secrecy behind the project during the first meeting.

"I asked George what kind of movie it was," the star explained. However, Lucas said, "Let's just do it, we'll talk about that later."

Hamill also quipped that, "We never did talk about it later ... we just did it."

Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill remain friends to this day and ended up with just a tad of success following their first screen-test.

They have remained deeply engrained in the "Star Wars" universe to this day, and recently joined George Lucas and Billy Dee Williams for the opening of "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" at Disneyland in Anaheim.

In the ancient video, a fresh faced Ford tells Hamill, "I’m beginning not to like you," which couldn't be farther from the truth these days.
