Stanford knocks off USC on half court buzzer-beater

Just because college football season is ending doesn’t mean #Pac12AfterDark has to. The craziness also extends to the basketball court and it was in full effect at the end of Stanford’s 77-76 victory over USC.

The Trojans went end-to-end with eight seconds left in a tie game before Jordan McLaughlin stormed into the lane for a layup. And if not for there being 1.7 seconds left in regulation, that would’ve been the shot of the game.

Instead Cardinal guard Daejon Davis put up a shot from half court and became a campus legend.

The freshman from Seattle finished with just nine points on the night and only hit one three-pointer — the game-winner.

This is why you never go to sleep before the Pac 12 games finish.
