Standing on the Corner, Chynna, More Set for Pitchfork Rising Northside Festival Showcase

Madison McFerrin and Empath will also perform at Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 9

Pitchfork is happy to announce the details of our Pitchfork Rising showcase at Brooklyn’s Northside Festival 2018. It takes place Saturday, June 9 at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The lineup includes Standing on the Corner, Chynna, Madison McFerrin, Empath, and a to-be-announced special guest. The 18+ showcase will begin at 8 p.m. ET. Tickets are $15 in advance and are available now.

Last fall, Standing on the Corner released their latest album, Red Burns. Madison McFerrin, the daughter of music icon Bobby McFerrin, crafts experimental pop. Empath recently issued their thrashing new full-length Liberating Guilt and Fear. Read our Rising interviews with Chynna and Standing on the Corner.

Northside takes place June 6-10 at venues throughout Brooklyn. Other artists announced as additions to the lineup include Liz Phair (touring her new Exile to Guyville box set), Clams Casino, Deerhoof, Dear Nora, Ought, Protomartyr, Snail Mail, Irreversible Entanglements, Soccer Mommy, and more.
