Stacey Dash's Husband Wants to Put Domestic Violence Arrest 'Behind Us'

Stacey Dash and her husband are appearing to stay on a united front after her arrest for domestic violence, and now her husband is admitting he never wanted her locked up in the first place.

As The Blast first reported, Florida prosecutors dropped the caser against Dash days after she made headlines for allegedly slapping her husband during a domestic dispute.

It was unclear at the time why the case was dropped, but now it seems prosecutors did not have a cooperating witness, and Dash's husband was pushing for her to be cleared.

"She was arrested over my objection at the time, but due to the pending investigation, I waited to comment until now," Dash's husband, Jeffrey Marty, explained on Twitter.

He said the state attorney made the "right call" by declining to file charges on the "Clueless" star, and that, "We both look forward to getting this behind us."

According to the 911 call, Dash had originally claimed that Marty and his three children had "conspired" to get Dash arrested.

She also claimed her husband put her in a "chokehold," and that she was only defending herself.

However, when cops arrived to the couple's apartment, they noted that "the victim sustained red scratch marks to his left upper arm from being pushed."

Officials also released the bodycam of Dash's arrest, in which she explains that she was a star on "Clueless," after the arresting officer asked if she acted in TV or movies.

Dash has not yet made any comments on the arrest, or what the future holds for the relationship with her husband.
