Stacey Dash’s Bizarre Oscar Appearance
The most awkward moment of the 2016 Oscars went to… Stacey Dash.
The Clueless star raised a ton of eyebrows when the host, Chris Rock, announced a surprise guest appearance by what he called the Academy’s new “director of the Minority Outreach Program,” as Dash walked on stage to wish everyone a happy Black History Month.
It was only last month that she declared on Fox and Friends that “there shouldn’t be a Black History Month.”
Dash published a blog post not long after her Oscars appearance, saying: “When they added ME to increase the diversity, I’m sure many black people rolled their eyes.”
