Stacey Dash Pleads Not Guilty To Domestic Violence Charge

“Clueless” star Stacey Dash has entered a plea of not guilty following her domestic violence arrest.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Dash entered a written plea to the misdemeanor charge. A public defender has been appointed to represent

The actress stated in court documents, “I cannot afford to hire a lawyer, and want the court to appoint one for me.”

Stacey Dash Apparently 'Clueless' Over Tax Owed in New York, Hit Up for Money in California

Over the weekend, Dash was arrested for domestic violence following an altercation with husband Jeffrey Marty.

The two got into an argument at their Florida home around 7:45 pm. During the fight, Dash allegedly slapped and pushed her husband.

Dash called police accusing her husband and his three kids of conspiring to have her arrested. She claimed it was to cover up his own actions.

The police report stated, "the victim sustained red scratch marks to his left upper arm from being pushed."

The Blast obtained the police body cam video which shows Dash being questioned. When the topic of her career comes up, Dash tells the officer she’s an actress. She said “I did a film called “Clueless” but explained she is on a break.

In the video, Dash is also seen crying after cops ask her to put her hands behind her back.

The “Clueless” actress was taken into custody by Pasco County, Florida. Dash was released on $500 bail. She will have to appear in court on the charges.

Dash and Marty got married last year in Florida.
