“Clueless” star Stacey Dash is being allowed contact with her husband, days after she allegedly violently attacked him.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a Florida judge has ordered Dash is allowed to see her husband following her arrest.
The actress also states in court documents, “I cannot afford to hire a lawyer, and want the court to appoint one for me.” She is asking for a public defender to represent her.
Over the weekend, Dash was arrested for domestic violence following an altercation with husband Jeffrey Marty.
The two got into an argument at their Florida home around 7:45 pm. During the fight, Dash allegedly slapped and pushed her husband.
Dash called police accusing her husband and his three kids of conspiring to have her arrested. She claimed it was to cover up his own actions. The police report stated, "the victim sustained red scratch marks to his left upper arm from being pushed."
The Blast obtained the police body cam video which shows Dash being questioned. When the topic of her career comes up, Dash tells the officer she’s an actress. She said “I did a film called “Clueless” but explained she is on a break.
In the video, Dash is also seen crying after cops ask her to put her hands behind her back.
The “Clueless” actress was taken into custody by Pasco County, Florida. Dash was released on $500 bail. She will have to appear in court on the charges.
Court records show Marty was the one who posted her bond. Dash and Marty got married last year in Florida.
