Stacey Abrams, who earlier this year was on the short-list as President-Elect Joe Biden’s running mate, has found herself once again in the spotlight. The 2018 Democratic gubernatorial candidate has devoted years to combatting voter suppression. After losing the Georgia governor’s race she arose as a pivotal activist and formed organizations to register thousands of new voters of color.
Currently, the politician is being lauded for having a tremendous role in helping Biden pull ahead in her home state of Georgia. Many believe that it is thanks to her that Biden became the first Democratic presidential candidate since 1992 to win the southern state. Stacey Abrams is many things: a politician, lawyer, and voting-rights activist. But what you may not know is that she’s also an author.
That’s right, Abrams can truly do it all and has published a stunning amount of 11 books. She has two nonfiction books written under her own name and eight romance novels under the pseudonym Selena Montgomery. I mean, what can’t she do?!
