Check Out Pics From Mack Wilds's Retro Rap-Themed Shoot for 'The Breaks'

Mack Wilds is in the house, and he’s taking us back to the ‘90s — and behind-the-scenes for the press shoot for The Breaks, VH1’s upcoming original movie about the hip-hop industry in the early 1990s. The Wire and 90210 alum took over our Instagram account ahead of the premiere of the highly anticipated rap-themed flick, giving us shots of co-stars Afton Williamson, Antoine Harris, and even the VH1 camera crew. There’s also a vanity license plate (guess what it says?), a jumbo retro boom box (insert cassette tapes here), graffiti galore, and our favorite shot: Wilds in character as hip-hop producer DeeVee. (OK, maybe it’s a toss-up between that one and the one where he’s channeling an American Psycho!)

The Breaks will drop on VH1 this winter, but we highly suggest you click through all of Mack’s snaps to get a preview right now.
