Squirrel visits family that saved her life

Bella the squirrel met Brantley Harrison and her family in 2009 when she was attacked by an owl and left very badly injured. Harrison took Bella in and helped her rehabilitate. It seems Bella the squirrel was so thankful she’s been returning to visit her human family nearly every day for seven years. She stayed with Harrison until she was better and ready to head out into the wild. Harrison told the Dodo, “The main objective is to return them all back into the wild, so I never treated her like a pet. She acted no different than the others.” Little did she know, Bella would be coming back almost daily. “Bella sits right at the front door waiting for someone to notice she has come by for a visit.” Harrison and her family feed Bella and show her lots of love. Their relationship is beyond cute.
