If you’ve landed on this page, it’s probably because you’re a fan of the coolest anime ever! Okay, this is (sort of) an exaggeration. Now, if you have no idea what we’re talking about and who the Forger’s are (you’re definitely welcome too!), let us clue you in. Spy x Family is a rather sweet and wholesome anime with some action that’ll leave you at the edge of your seat. It’s about a spy, whose codename is Twilight, on an unusual mission, Operation Strix, to bring peace to the East and West. To complete his mission, he adopts a daughter named Anya, who’s a telepath (and also the winner of Crunchyroll’s “Must Protect At All Costs” Anime Character award this year) and finds a wife, Yor, who’s an assassin — although none of them know about each other’s unique abilities. Sounds interesting, right?

And it’ll only get better with the new movie, Spy x Family Code: White. This time around, the family takes a vacation on a winter weekend getaway to further their current mission. However, while away, “Anya mistakenly gets involved and triggers events that threaten world peace,” according to the synopsis. See, that sounds like something worth seeing, right?

Unlike other animes, like Demon Slayer, this new movie isn’t a lead-way into season three. Instead, it’s “a completely new original story” that you most likely won’t find in the manga series by Tatsuya Endo. While the story is still based on Endo’s series, Code: White is written by Ichiro Okouchi and directed by Takashi Katagiri.
