Cleaning your tub or shower is zero fun — especially the tiled walls. Soap scum, mold and mildew can accumulate in the grout. When that happens, it feels nearly impossible to return it to sparkling status. Maybe you’ve tried some of Amazon’s favorite cleaning products or invested in a power spin brush, but what if you could prevent the grime altogether?

$4.08 at Walmart

I recently visited a friend who just moved into a house with an all-white tiled shower (it’s gorgeous). Curious how she kept it so clean, I looked on the shelf and saw Method Daily Shower Spray. The instructions say to spray the cleaner on the walls after you’ve taken a shower. A daily spray will keep the soap scum away with no scrubbing required. Plus, it smells like eucalyptus and mint. My friend said she swears by it — and I’m considering her immaculate shower as proof.

Like all Method’s cleaning products, this shower spray is plant-based, devoid of parabens and phthalates and cruelty-free. You can use it on tile, fixtures and glass tubs. It won’t leave a chemical residue behind, just a clean shower.

I have older tile that usually requires a lot of elbow grease to clean. With that in mind, I recently ordered some for my shower from Walmart for about $4. So far, I’m pretty happy with the results. Worst case scenario, my shower at least smells incredibly fresh.
