Spotify Has Revealed the Top 10 Most-Streamed Beatles Songs

They're not what you'd expect.

On Christmas Eve, music lovers all over the world got one of the best presents they could ask for: the the Beatles's catalogue available for live-streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, TIDAL, and Amazon Prime. Now, Spotify has released some data on the songs that people have been listening to the most, and the results are a little surprising. The top 10 for the U.S. are as follows:

1. "Come Together"

2. "Hey Jude"

3. "Here Comes The Sun"

4. "Let It Be"

5. "Twist And Shout"

6. "Blackbird"

7. "I Want To Hold Your Hand"

8. "In My Life"

9. "She Loves You"

10. "Help!"

While these are certainly classics, I would certainly think "Yesterday" would take precedence over less revered tunes like "Twist and Shout," particularly since it's often been named the greatest song of all time. But perhaps Christmas is no time to be melancholy.

Spotify has also revealed that 65% of those listening to the Beatles were under the age of 34, giving much-needed evidence that the whole "Who is Paul McCartney" Twitter snafu of yesteryear was just a joke.
