Amici moves away from coursing menu

Amici, 4728 S. Campbell Ave., has shifted its menu away from the prix fixe concept.

A Facebook post attributed the change to a survey of customers at Amici, Lavender Falls and the Aviary, who said they wanted less structure. The restaurant will continue to offer a rotating menu, but items will be available a la carte.

Owner Catherine Bersted indicated that the restaurant may do monthly coursing dinners in the new year.

Catherine and Thor Bersted, who also own Lavender Falls and co-own the Aviary, opened Amici in late August. Originally, the restaurant offered a five-course prix fixe meal for $60 as well as small bites.
