Spirit of Somerset has fun for all, with food, games, craft fair, fireworks

SOMERSET — The fun returns on Saturday, Sept. 9.

That’s the day of the 22nd annual Spirit of Somerset Family Fun Day, which will feature returning favorites as well as some new activities this year.

Held at Village Waterfront Park, 274 Main St., this year’s Spirit of Somerset has a new event scheduled: a craft fair.

Organizers have been busy looking for local crafters ahead of this year’s festivities.

They’ve got even more activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Some activities will require a wristband and a signed insurance waiver by a parent or legal guardian to participate in, according to the Spirit of Somerset website.

They are: the monkey pole, bouncers, the obstacle course, dodgeball, face painting, pony rides, and the petting zoo.
