Spike Lee directs and co-writes his first Netflix movie, “Da 5 Bloods.” The film follows a group of Vietnam War veterans who return to Vietnam to search for the remains of their squad leader — and, perhaps, some buried treasure. The film premieres on Netflix Friday, June 12. Issa Rae’s series “Insecure” wraps its fourth season. The season brought us that long-awaited block party, an Issa and Lawrence reunion, and a fallout between friends Issa and Molly. Tune in Sunday, June 14 on HBO to see how it all plays out. The Netflix docuseries “Lenox Hill” is a timely look at the everyday heroism of doctors. The eight-part series follows four doctors at the New York City hospital over several months on the job. Although “Lenox Hill” was shot before the coronavirus pandemic, it shines a light on how essential frontline health care workers are. It premieres Wednesday, June 10 on Netflix.
